Election Results In A Feudal Democracy

Don’t Be Misled By Election Results
People put too much faith in election results. They need critical investigation.
They Do NOT Reflect The Wishes Of The People
At times I am amazed at how the tv newscasters, reporters, political experts and political commentators (hereafter, collectively refered to as the Political Pundits) demonstrate on global tv just how little they understand, and how badly and incorrectively they interpret and describe, the results of elections in Feudal Democracies around the world. It makes me want to shout at the tv and pull my hair out. As the tv doesn’t pay any attention to me and my hair is thinning out I decided to try and explain where these Political Pundits are going wrong.
Analogy – Democracy On A Slave Estate
I usually use an analogy to clarify what I am trying to explain as most people accept and believe the propaganda they grew up being fed and so I need to find a mechanism whereby the reader can see out above and beyond the box in which they think and view the world.
Imagine a slave estate, down South, whatever country!, where the slaves are whipped each and every day by a LeatherMan who uses a leather lash. The slave owner Barak Obamagh (aka the blood thirsty killer liar tyrant) decides to hire another slave whipper CaneMan who only ever uses a cane to whip the slaves. This Barak – the blood thirsty killer liar tyrant, who wears a mask with a smiling face which covers the sneering vileness of a Dorian Gary painting, with a heart as black as the devil – decides to bring ‘democracy’ to the slave estate and so allows the slaves to choose in an election (by secret ballot), which person is to become the chief whipper for the next 4 years.
The slaves don’t want to be whipped by the leather lash and don’t want to be whipped by the cane whip but, because they have to make a decision one way or the other, the majority of those who bother to vote, eg 48%, decide that the cane whip might be slightly less hurtful than the leather whip. The cane whipper CaneMan receives 51% of the votes cast.
Please note, at no time are the slaves allowed to choose whether they are whipped or not, just WHO will whip them.
Now, according to the logic of the Political Pundits on tv, CaneMan has the ‘support’ of 51% of the slaves, because he had been chosen by the slaves in a democratic election. According to the Political Pundits, being whipped by the CaneMan now has become ‘the will of the people’. According to the Political Pundits this is democracy in action – the people had their say! According to the Political Pundits, the slaves should be a happy and contented people.
I am not a Political Pundit and would therefore have to disagree with their ‘professional’ interpretation of the results of the whipper election.
Example Egypt – Presidential Election 2012
For simplicity I am going to round figures to nearest million. These are the figures of votes for Mohamed Morsi.
Registered voters: 51m (actual votes cast 23m)
1st round result: 6m (12% of registered voters)
In other words 45m Egyptians (88%) did NOT give him their vote in the 1st round.
2nd round result: 13m (25% of registered voters)
In other words 38m Egyptians (75%) did NOT give him their vote in the 2nd round.
Firstly to talk of 51% of voters supporting Mohamed Morsi is utterly misleading. Those who did NOT bother to vote did NOT support him. He RECEIVED 25% consent of the total Egyptian voters. That does not mean 25% SUPPORTED him, as has already been explained in the analogy. In fact, all one can ever say for definite is that 13m did NOT want Ahmed Shafik (Morsi’s opponent in the 2nd round) to end up being the next Egyptian President. We all know that in elections, in many instances, it is the case of voting for the least worse candidate.
The FACT is that when the Egyptians had a larger choice (in the 1st round) 88% of the registered voters did NOT give their vote to Mohamed Morsi. They did not want HIM to be President of Egypt. It was only when they had the unpalatable choice of him or the other candidate they they reluctantly chose him. That does not infer that they supported him. According to the first round 75% of all Egyptians did not want either candidate to be President.
The fact is that in ALL Feudal Democracies elections distort and corrupt the notion of the will of the people and certainly do not demonstrate that the winner actually has the SUPPORT of those who voted for them.
Also, what MUST be taken into account is the existence of political parties in Feudal Democracies which also distort election results. You may say that this happens in all ‘democratic’ countries. ABSOLUTELY. That is why political parties are deterimental to democracy. In too many cases it is the political parties which dictate the candidates who run in elections because they control the political system, and the citizens have to make the reluctant choice. See Political Parties Destroy Democracy (will open in new window).
The simple truth is that the Egyptian election results did NOT reflect the wishes or will of the Egyptians. Likewise, they did NOT want a Muslim Brotherhood/Morsi Constitution but it was forced on them.
This is how elections in Feudal Democracies distorts and corrupts the will of the people around the world.
So from now on the Political Pundits should use terminology like ‘Morsi received 51% of the reluctant voters ballots’ but do NOT say he has their support. Clearly he does not, and did not, have their support, just their temporary acquiescence.
Elections in a Feudal Democracy NEVER reflect the wishes of the citizens and should only be used by them to start a Revolution – using the ballot box: Start The Revolution With A Pencil On Election Day (open in new window).
When Morsi had abused the power they had temporarily given him, the Egyptian citizens, because they did not have any Democratic method of relieving him of that temporary political authority, had to take to the streets to DEMAND that he leave. In Feudal Democracies there is no other method of the citizens voicing their wish to remove a politicians who abuses their authority. Most Nations are NOT democratic in the slightest.
Although what they did was extreme, they had no other choice. Let’s hope the true will of the people will be the final outcome. Their actions should be a shining light to every oppressed citizen everywhere around the world. BUT revolutions without thought can be unproductive – thinking and understanding is required. It is important for all oppressed citizens to thoroughly understand feudal-democracy at a fundamental level, and how it controls and enslaves them while making it appear as if the system is democratic.
Knowledge is power and to remain ignorant of how you are being manipulated and controlled is to guarantee that you remain manipulated and controlled and POWERLESS.

A revolution must start by first understanding, then agreeing a solution, then action to begin installing a true democratic system. It is relevant for all feudal-democratic nations, including but not limited to the USA, UK, Ireland, Spain, Greece, Italy, Germany, Australia, Belgium, and many other nations.
